Alcoholic Beverage Licensing Committee

Meeting Time: Thursday preceding the first Tuesday of the month (i.e., the Thursday before the monthly ANC 6E meeting) — typically at 6:00pm

Purpose: This Committee is organized to meet with proprietors within the ANC boundaries that seek to obtain an alcohol license or renew a current license. For new licenses, the Committee will discuss the proposed operations of the proprietor and make recommendations to the full ANC on the terms of a settlement agreement if one is necessary. For the renewal of a current license, the Committee will discuss any violations and issues with the operation and make recommendations to the full ANC.

Zoning Advisory Committee

Purpose: This Committee meets with large and small developers, and homeowners, to discuss their applications before the Historical Preservation Review Board and the Board of Zoning Adjustment. The Committee will meet with these applicants to discuss the project plans (i.e. Apartments, Condos, Hotel, Retail, etc.), and make recommendations to the full ANC.

Transportation Advisory Committee

Chair: Alex Lopez (6E02@anc.dc.gov)
Meeting Time: Last Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm (no meetings in July)
Location: Currently meeting remotely. See agenda for dial-in information.
Purpose: This Committee meets to discuss public space permits that go before the District Department of Transportation. It also meets to discuss important traffic issues that impact our neighborhoods (i.e. traffic signs, crosswalks, bike lanes, etc.). The purpose of this Committee is to improve transportation safety, accessibility, and equity for all road users in our community.
